Cinnamon Roll Smoothie
This cinnamon roll-inspired smoothie tastes like a freshly baked cinnamon roll crammed into a glass! It's irresistibly sweet and creamy and complete with a cinnamon swirl glaze. This smoothie is filled with wholesome ingredients, sneaky veggies, and over 30 grams of protein! It's ready in 10 minutes and makes for a great breakfast or post-workout snack.
Ingredients
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Banana, ripe, peeled, broken into chunks, and frozen
- 0.33 cup0.33 cup0.33 cup Cauliflower Rice, Frozen, optional
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Vanilla Protein Powder, about 1 serving
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Oats, Rolled
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Almond Butter, or cashew butter; I don't recommend peanut butter as the flavor may be overpowering

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Medjool Dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 10 minutes, or 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt

- 0.75 cup0.75 cup0.75 cup Soy Milk, or milk of choice, plus more as necessary
- 1.5 tsp1.5 tsp1.5 tsp Brown Sugar
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Water

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- First, remove the pit from the date if it's not already pitted, and place it into a small bowl of very warm water for 5-10 minutes. This softens the date for easier blending.
- Discard the soaking water and add the date with all remaining ingredients to a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth, ensuring that the dates and oats are broken down as much as possible, about 1 minute. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more soy milk and blend again to reach your desired consistency.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and place in the freezer to stay cold while you prepare the glaze (if using).
- In a small bowl, stir together all ingredients for the cinnamon swirl glaze. Use a spoon to drizzle the glaze on top of the smoothie in a swirl shape. Enjoy!
