Summer is the perfect time for a good Cobb Salad. And living in Hawai’i with warm weather year round we eat this all the time. My family loves a huge salad for dinner. Like most salads you can substitute ingredients as you like or for what is available in the market. My husband likes tomatoes, I don’t. Sometimes we add nuts, sometimes not. Have fun with it. Enjoy

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Make the ranch dressing by adding ingredients to a Mason jar and using a small whisk stir until well blended. Chill
  2. Cook the chicken (you can roast or boil it) then when at 165 degrees chop it up small and chill.
  3. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes then peel and slice.
  4. Cook the bacon, chop then set aside.
  5. Add the lettuces, carrots, tomatoes, and onions to large salad bowls.
  6. Top with bacon, eggs, cheese, and chicken.
  7. Spoon on dressing, stir and enjoy.

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken to make things easier if you like.
