Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prep your breading station
  2. Grab a small bowl and combine 1 egg with 1 tsp of water
  3. Whisk this to create an egg wash
  4. Grab a plate or a zip lock bag and combine flour, Cornstarch, lawrys seasoning, paprika, pepper, red pepper flakes and onion powder
  5. Lastly grab another plate and place plain bread crumbs, coconut shreds, lawrys seasoning, pepper and smoked Paprika
  6. Use your hands or a spoon to thoroughly mix this so the Coconut shreds and bread crumbs are spread throughout the plate
  7. Use thawed and washed chicken for this recipe
  8. Cut your chicken breast into 3 pieces (long ways) creating a tender like shape
  9. Dip your chicken tender into the flour or place in the zip lock bag and shake until covered
  10. Dip into the egg wash and lastly into the bread crumb mixture
  11. Repeat this step for all 6 tenders
  12. Place on a baking tray and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes
  13. Preheat your air fryer on "bake" setting at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  14. Lay chicken tenders into the air fryer and spray with an oil.of your choosing
  15. Cook for 10 minutes
  16. Flip the tenders and continue to cook until done (may take longer than an additional 10 minutes)
  17. Enjoy!

Notes

Depending on your air fryer settings it's recommended to flip the tenders about 8-10 minutes in to get an even cook. You can spray them with an oil of your choice (I used Avocado oil) to help avoid burning the coconut flakes. 0.25= 1/4 0.333 = 1/3 0.5= 1/2 0.125 = 1/8
