Deviled Eggs with Relish
These Indian spiced deviled eggs with relish are easy to make and taste delicious.
Ingredients
- 555 Eggs, large boiled
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Avocado, mayo
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Onion Powder
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp ground Ginger
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp ground Coriander
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Turmeric Powder
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Chili Powder
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Garam Masala, powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Tomato Paste
- .5.5.5 Jalapeño, seeds removed, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Onion, finely chopped
- .5 Tbsp.5 Tbsp.5 Tbsp Carrots, (optional), finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp ground Coriander, chopped, to garnish
- Capers, (to garnish)
- Salt, (as per requirement)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Mash the egg yolks with the back of a spoon or a fork
- Lightly toast all the spices (onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, turmeric, chili and gram masala) on low heat in a sauce pan for a few minutes. Make sure that you don't burn them.
- Add the toasted spices to the egg yolks. Add in the mayo, chopped onions, carrots, jalapenos and the tomato paste
- Give everything a nice mix
- Use a piping bag or a spoon to dollop the mashed mixture on to the egg whites
- Garnish with capers, chopped coriander and a light dash of chili powder
- Enjoy!
Notes
Taste the mashed mixture to see if you need to add salt, then add accordingly.
