Easy Apple Pie Bread
The perfect one bowl and one pan recipe has entered the chat just in time for the fall season! I am a firm believer in minimal waste so when I have a brioche bread or pandoro that is a bit on the dry side, I like to make a variation of this recipe. It tastes like a warm slice of apple pie with almost no work!
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Almond Milk, (or any milk of choice works, even cream)
- 0.5 whole0.5 whole0.5 whole Pandoro, (about 10 slices, cubbed)
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Apple Pie Spice - Primal Palate

- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Eggs
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Vanilla Extract - Primal Palate

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Margarine, (to coat the pan)
- 6 Tbsp6 Tbsp6 Tbsp Apple Butter, Unsweetened, (homemade or store bought works)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Granulated White Sugar, (or more if you like it really sweet!)

- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Apples, Honeycrisp, (cubbed, optional)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar, (optional for garnish

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 350 and line an 8x8 baking dish with margarine, set aside
- In a large bowl combine eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, apples, apple butter, apple pie spice, and almond milk, set aside
- Slice your pandoro in half and then begin to slice evenly
- Cube each slice and place the cubes into milk mixture
- Coat evenly until the milk mixture is soaked up
- Place mixture into baking dish
- Bake for 35 at 350 or until top is golden brown
- Once baked, remove from oven and allow to cool to room temperature
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve like so or top off with caramel, ice cream OR more apple butter!
Notes
You can make this dessert ahead and warm it up just before serving, top it off with caramel and ice cream! Store in the fridge sliced and ready to serve
