Garam Masala Grilled Asparagus
This simple recipe for grilled (or roasted, if you prefer) asparagus adds a pop of flavor and acidity that will keep you coming back for more! The garam masala flavor melds beautifully with the asparagus, and it's subtle but still delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Asparagus
- 3-4 Tbsp3-4 Tbsp3-4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Lemon Juice

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Wash asparagus under cold water and pat dry.
- Trim the fibrous ends off of the asapragus, about 1-2 inches off the end (or snap off by hand, whichever you prefer).
- Arrange on a parchment-lined sheet tray and drizzle/sprinkle remaining ingredients on top.
- Massage everything into the asparagus so you know it's evenly covered.
- Grill on high heat for 10 minutes, and flip and grill for 3-4 more minutes or until desired doneness.
- If roasting, roast at 425˚F for 12-14 minutes, depending on thickness of asparagus.
