Gluten Free Brownie Oreo Trifles
This is such a fun little dessert to throw together, especially when you use premade brownies like my favorite gluten free brownies from Antonina’s. Since there’s no baking involved, it comes together with very little effort and is perfect to make ahead for an easy dessert at home or for entertaining. I’ve also been reaching for my mini food processor constantly lately, and it worked perfectly for turning the gluten free Oreos into fine little crumbs for layering into the trifles.
Ingredients
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Cool Whip, 1 container
- 1.7 oz1.7 oz1.7 oz Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix, 1 packet
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Milk, or the amount listed on your pudding package instructions

- 12 pieces12 pieces12 pieces Oreo, Gluten-Free
- 4-8 pieces4-8 pieces4-8 pieces Brownies

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Prepare the Pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and milk according to the package instructions. If your pudding mix calls for a slightly different amount of milk, follow the package directions. Place the pudding in the refrigerator until chilled and set.
- Make the Whipped Filling: In a large bowl, gently fold the chilled chocolate pudding into the whipped topping until smooth and fully combined. Add some of the crushed gluten free Oreo crumbs and fold again until incorporated. You can add as much or as little as you’d like depending on how much cookie crunch you want throughout the filling.
- Cube the Brownies: Cut the brownie slices into bite-sized cubes.
- Assemble the Trifles: In small jars, layer a few brownie pieces, several spoonfuls of the chocolate mixture and a sprinkle of Oreo crumbs. Repeat the layers until the jars are full.
- Chill & Serve: Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
