Heart Shaped Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Heart Shaped Chocolate Chip Cookies are perfect for Valentine’s day! The cookies have a soft and gooey middle, and come together in one bowl without an electric mixer.
Ingredients

- 3/4 tsp3/4 tsp3/4 tsp ground (vanilla bean powder) Vanilla Beans, or 1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Unflavored Gelatin
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Organic [*Spectrum Brand, sustainably sourced] Palm Oil Shortening
- 3/4 cup3/4 cup3/4 cup Dark Chocolate Chips, (AIP Reintroduction)

Keep in a resealable container at room temperature for 2-3 days. // To keep fully AIP elimination stage compliant, use dried and chopped fruit or carob chips in place of the chocolate chips. // If the cookie expands during baking and the heart shape needs some help, make sure to add that center point immediately after removing the baking sheet from the oven. You need to do it while the cookie is still hot. Once it’s cooled, the cookies will harden.
