Whipped Cottage Cheese Base

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Mariana Layer
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Italian Sausage, Mild, or lean ground beef

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Bionaturae

- 3 cloves3 cloves3 cloves Garlic

- 0.25 whole0.25 whole0.25 whole White Onion, diced
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Carrots, shredded

- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp California Sea Salt - Primal Palate

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes

Topping
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Mozzarella, Shredded

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1- drain any excess watery liquid from the top of the can of tomatoes, then reduce tomatoes on low-medium heat for 7-8 minutes to thicken
- 2- Cook the sausage
- Heat olive oil in a skillet.
- Add sausage or beef and cook until browned.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add garlic, onion, and carrot; cook until fragrant.
- 3- Pour in Reduced Delallo Crushed Tomatoes
- Simmer 8–10 minutes until glossy and rich
- 4- While it simmers Make the whipped cottage cheese
- Blend cottage cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, Italian seasoning, and salt until smooth and fluffy.
- 4. Assemble the dip
- Spread the whipped cottage cheese into a 9x9 baking dish.
- Top with the warm Delallo marinara.
- Sprinkle mozzarella over top, leaving the center uncovered to allow for venting
- 5. Bake
- Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes on the lowest rack of the oven until bubbling and golden around the edges.
- 6-add cheese to the center and bake an additional 5 min, and optionally broil for 1 min for an even more golden toppinf
- 6. Serve
- Top with fresh basil.
- Serve with sourdough, pita chips, veggies dippers, or gluten‑free crackers
