Homemade Valentine’s Day marshmallows
Easy. Gluten-free. Dairy-free. Gut-friendly. These are so tasty and so healthy too!
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Beef gelatin unflavored
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Water
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Pure Maple Syrup

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Red Beet Powder

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Pour 1/2 cup warm water into a mixing bowl, add beef gelatin, whisk slightly and let sit
- Pour the other 1/2 cup of water and 1 cup of maple syrup into a small saucepan and whisk to combine
- Slowly bring the water and maple syrup mixture to a boil while stirring. Keep simmering, stirring constantly for 8 minutes.
- Start your mixer on low
- Once the mixture is all added, mix on medium-high for 10-15 minutes or until soft peaks form
- When it is almost done add the vanilla extract and beet powder
- Grease a 8x8 baking dish with ghee and spread the mixture evenly into it or use parchment paper
- You can add sprinkles on top if you like
- Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour or until set
- Cut into cubes and enjoy!
