Hydrating Watermelon Shaved Ice
This hydrating, watermelon shaved ice has been on repeat all summer long. I use my KitchenAid shaved ice attachment to make the most delicious electrolyte filled treat for me and the kids.

- 1.5 lb1.5 lb1.5 lb Watermelon, cubed
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Water
- 111 LMNT Electrolyte Drink Mix Packet (Watermelon Salt)

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add the cubed watermelon to a high speed blender
- Next, add the lime juice, water, and LMNT watermelon electrolyte packet.
- Blend until smooth, and then strain through a fine mesh sieve.
- Fill each shaved ice mold with the watermelon mixture. Let freeze until solid, approximately, 4 to 6 hours.
- Remove from the mold and place in the kitchen aid shaved ice attachment. Be sure to use the “fine” ice blade.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
I have only ever made this with the Kitchen Aid Shaved Ice Attachment. For an extra boost of flavor add a few strawberries to the mixture
