Jalapeño Turkey Meatballs In Homemade Cranberry Sauce
When spicy meets sweet, it just can’t go wrong! This is a great appetizer to serve in Thanksgiving Day!
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Turkey

- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Jalapeño Pepper, Diced small
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Almond Flour

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper, Ground

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic Powder

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Onion Powder

- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Cranberries, Fresh
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Orange Juice, Fresh
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Water
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Coconut Sugar

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Mix all ingredients together for the meatballs in a bowl.
- I used a half-inch scooper and scooped them onto a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Bake at 400° for 25 mins or until cooked through.
- For the sauce, place water, orange juice, and coconut sugar in a small saucepan.
- Heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Rinse and go through the cranberries, disgarding any that are soft. Add the cranberries to the sauce pan, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Once done use an immersion blender to blend them up.
- Combine the meatballs and sauce and simmer uncovered for 5 mins.
- Enjoy!!
