Keto Sausage Rolls with Almond Flour

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Baking Powder

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with a piece of parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese together. Stir until smooth.
- Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Add the egg and knead the dough until it forms a ball.
- Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough with a sharp knife into 6 rectangles. Place a sausage on each rectangle. Cut each sausage lengthwise about halfway down and fill with cheddar cheese, then roll up.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven or until golden brown.
Notes
Sausages: I used Italian thin sausages for this recipe. If you use larger sausages, you may end up with fewer than 6 portions, which could affect the nutritional values provided. For best results, use pre-shredded mozzarella cheese. Make sure the dough is evenly rolled out to ensure even baking. You can use any kind of sausage you prefer.
