avocado toast… but with a korean-inspired vibe 🥑🔥 this is my kind of avocado toast: gluten-free, protein-packed, blood-sugar–friendly, & loaded with functional superfoods. we’ve got omega-3–rich salmon (plus crispy bacon because balance 😌), creamy avocado, & all the korean flair — fermented kimchi (hello probiotics), furikake (seaweed = minerals for days), a little gochugaru heat, & a spicy korean bbq dressing made with greek yogurt to keep things creamy and high-protein. this toast hits savory, spicy, crunchy, & nourishing all at once — proof that functional food can still be bold, exciting, & seriously satisfying.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. first add bread to a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to “toast” bottom of bread.
  2. follow my recipe for crispy seared salmon (or fry canned salmon in skillet).
  3. in a bowl, combine all ingredients for korean bbq dressing.
  4. to build toast, remove toast from skillet then layer on: mashed avocado → crispy salmon → crumbled bacon → kimchi → furikake, gochugaru, & cilantro → finish with a drizzle of korean bbq dressing.
