One Pot Chili Mac
I grew up eating a difference version of chili mac. It was more canned chili and box Mac and cheese with some corn thrown in a pot.
My version is a warm, hearty one pot dinner your entire family will love.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Beef (93/7) - Thrive Market

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Yellow Onion, Chopped
- 4 cloves4 cloves4 cloves Garlic, Chopped

- 2 cup2 cup2 cup Beef Bone Broth - Bonafide Provisions

- 15 oz15 oz15 oz Tomato Sauce, Can
- 15 oz15 oz15 oz Diced Tomatoes, Can
- 15 oz15 oz15 oz Great Northern Beans, Canned, Rinsed
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Elbow Macaroni Pasta, Or your favorite small pasta

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Frozen Corn
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Cheddar Cheese, Grated

- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Cumin, Ground

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Onion Powder - The Spice Lab

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Garlic Powder - The Spice Lab

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Organic Smoked Paprika - The Spice Lab

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Oregano, Dried

- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt, To taste

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper, To taste

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1. Start by browning your ground beef in a pot. Then add your onions and garlic and good until they start to soften.
- 2. Rinse your beans
- 3. Add the seasoning and stir.
- 4. Add all remaining ingredients except the cheese.
- 5. Make sure the noodles are fully submerged in the liquid. Stir occasionally until the noodles are fully cooked.
- 6. Once the noodles are cooked add the shredded cheese.
- 7. Once the cheese is melted…dinner is ready.
Notes
You can serve this with more cheese, jalapeños, chives, sour cream or whatever your favorite chili topping is!
