I grew up  eating a difference version of chili mac. It was more canned chili and box Mac and cheese with some corn thrown in a pot. My version is a warm, hearty one pot dinner your entire family will love.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. 1. Start by browning your ground beef in a pot. Then add your onions and garlic and good until they start to soften.
  2. 2. Rinse your beans
  3. 3. Add the seasoning and stir.
  4. 4. Add all remaining ingredients except the cheese.
  5. 5. Make sure the noodles are fully submerged in the liquid. Stir occasionally until the noodles are fully cooked.
  6. 6. Once the noodles are cooked add the shredded cheese.
  7. 7. Once the cheese is melted…dinner is ready.

Notes

You can serve this with more cheese, jalapeños, chives, sour cream or whatever your favorite chili topping is!
