Oven Bliss All Purpose Spice Rub
I enjoy creating new spice blends...using a Primal Palate blend is often my starting place! And while you'll see that the one I use in this recipe is Seafood Seasoning I've been enjoying it in all sorts of ways beyond seafood. I make this one is bulk like I do my Tropical Furikake Spice Blend so I have it on hand when I'm making dinner! It's so great on my Oven Baked Pork Chops, chicken or even potatoes!
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Seafood Seasoning - Primal Palate
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Brown Sugar, can sub coconut sugar for Paleo, OMIT for Whole30
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Paprika
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Sumac
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp dried Thyme
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Dry Mustard Powder
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Redmond Real Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add all the ingredients to a small mason jar, securing the lid, then give it a good shake till all ingredients are combined. Store at room temperature and enjoy on all the things!
- Alternately, add all ingredients to a small bowl, stirring until fully combined. Pour into an airtight jar and store at room temperature.
Notes
Since this does have some sugar included, it can burn easily. I find this blend if often best used when baking vs searing on the stove top or grilling.
