Grape Lime Rickey Cream Soda
I enjoy recreating fun flavor profiles in beverages so when my hubby said he "LOVES" a grape lime rickey I had to elevate it just a smidge, pour it all over pebble ice and add a tasty, frothy element. Since grape juice can be quite strong, I use a little kiss of sparkling water to level out the flavors a bit, it's optional of course but use the ratios that best suit your taste buds. The matcha in the frothy vanilla creamer doesn't make it taste like matcha at all, I just liked the little hint of green it adds to the overall vibe. As you sip/stir and enjoy, the ombre effect of dark purple to green is pure magic!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- I like to stir together the grape juice and lime juice first so I can taste and adjust the amount lime. You can also add more lime juice once the juices have been poured into the cup...this isn't rocket science really, so combine how it best suits your taste buds! Once you have that flavor finalized, it's time to assemble.
- Add the ice to a 12oz glass and pour that juice over the top, adding a bit of sparking water if using, and stir to combine. Be sure to leave room for the frothy vanilla cream up on top!
- Add vanilla creamer to a small narrow glass, add the matcha if using and stir to incorporate. Once that matcha is fully mixed in and the color is a lovely light green, use your frother and froth away!
- Pour that on top of the juice, add a little zest up on top, little lime wedge and sip away!
