Passion Fruit Hibiscus Cream Soda
A fusion of flavors you do not want to miss out on! This is a mash up of a tropical sparkling soda with a kiss of frothy "passion fruit" infused cream up on top, similar to those scrumptious Italian cream sodas. This one however also has added collagen since I used the Bare Bones Passion Fruit drink mix to use in the cream, but also the ice cubes! So as they melt you’re going to get even more passion fruit flavor!

passion fruit ice cubes
- In a small mixing bowl combine water, drink mix powder and prickly pear powder, if using, whisk together well. Pour into ice cube trays of choice and freeze. See note below for a link to the tray I used.
hibiscus soda
- Add ice cubes to two medium size cups or jars, pour sparkling water over the ice cubes then drizzle half of the hibiscus syrup into each jar, stirring well.
passion fruit cream
- In a narrow glass, add cream and passion fruit drink mix, giving it a good stir to fully incorporate. Use your frother to give it a fluffy froth then pour onto the top of each of your sodas.
- Garnish with candied hibiscus flowers* and mint if desired.
- Serve right away and enjoy!
Notes
When you make my HIBISCUS SYRUP you can reserve the flowers in an air tight container in the fridge. They are completely edible! I put a few a cocktail skewer then sprinkle with sugar as a fun garnish for this drink.
Here is the link to the mini round ice cube trays I have used for years.
