peanut butter protein eggs
reese's are great anytime of year, but reese's eggs are a staple easter treat. here is a homemade version that has added protein & no sugar!
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Organic Creamy Peanut Butter, may sub any nut or seed butter
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Vanilla Protein Powder - Be Well by Kelly
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Peanut Butter Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Vanilla Extract - Primal Palate
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Sugar-free Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch LMNT Chocolate Salt Electrolyte Mix, or sea salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- in a bowl, combine peanut butter, protein powder, pb powder, & vanilla extract.
- add peanut butter mixture to small silicon molds or using a small cookie scoop, make each into an egg or ball shape.
- freeze peanut butter mixture for 10-20 minutes.
- in a bowl, microwave dark chocolate in 30 second intervals until melted.
- dip each egg into chocolate, then place on a lined baking sheet.
- sprinkle on salt or LMNT.
- freeze for at least 20-30 minutes before consuming, then store remaining in the freezer.
