Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Making your own hot chocolate couldn't be easier, and it's way better for you than the packaged kind. This peppermint hot chocolate comes together very quickly, has minimal sugar, and is a delight!
Ingredients
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Raw Cacao Powder
- 2 - 3 tsp2 - 3 tsp2 - 3 tsp Classic Monkfruit Sweetener (with Erythritol) - Lakanto, see notes
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Water, boiling
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Milk
- 0.125 - 0.25 tsp0.125 - 0.25 tsp0.125 - 0.25 tsp Peppermint Extract
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Mix first 3 ingredients together in a pot over low heat. Slowly add in milk of choice and let simmer on low heat (do not boil) for 3-5 min. Turn off heat and add peppermint extract.
Notes
You can swap regular sugar for the monk fruit but will probably need to add more since monk fruit is sweeter.
