Pollo Frito en Freidora de Aire (Air Fryer Fried Chicken)
Air fryer fried chicken eliminates having to use an excessive amount of oil, making this dish much healthier. Also, it's super easy to make in the air fryer. While the chicken cooks, I prepare a side dish and vegetable and dinner is served in less than 30 minutes. Save this recipe for an easy weeknight meal everyone will enjoy!
Ingredients
- 6-86-86-8 Chicken Drumstick, Skin On
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Adobo - Healthy Rican
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sazón - Healthy Rican
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Paprika
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Onion Powder
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Brown Sugar
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Oregano, Dried, ground
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Salt
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Avocado Oil

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Spray air fryer with avocado oil and preheat at 375℉.
- Rinse the chicken with water and white vinegar or lemon juice. Place the chicken in a large bowl.
- Season chicken with spices. Toss to combine.
- Add flour and toss to combine.
- Place chicken in air fryer and cook at 375℉ for 15 minutes, flip and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Optional: If you want crispier skin, flip the chicken again and cook at 400℉ for 5 minutes more. Check on it every minute or so to make sure it doesn't burn.
- Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
