Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Crush the cumin seeds, jalapeno, basil leaves with a mortar and pestle (you can crush them into a coarse paste using whichever method you like)
  2. Add lime juice, the above paste, chaat masala and Himalayan black salt to the pomegranate juice. This is the concentrate.
  3. Fill a 8 oz. glass halfway with ice and pour the pomegranate concentrate just above the ice line.
  4. Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water. (You can also add champagne instead of sparkling water to make it a cocktail)
  5. Give a gentle stir, garnish with lime wedges, basil leaves and pomegranate seeds.
  6. Enjoy immediately, else the mocktail will become watery.

Notes

You can also use mint leaves instead of basil leaves. You can make the concentrate and save it, but prepare the mocktail just before serving, else it will turn watery. Give a gentle stir at the end so that the flavors don't settle to the bottom of the glass.
