Prosciutto and Cheese Pull Apart Sliders
Ingredients
Sun Dried Tomato and Pepper Sauce
- 7 oz7 oz7 oz Roasted Red Pepper, or chipotle peppers in adobo
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Sun-Dried Tomatoes
- 2 sprigs2 sprigs2 sprigs Rosemary, Fresh
- Basil, Fresh, about 10 leaves
- 3-5 cloves3-5 cloves3-5 cloves Garlic
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Brown Sugar
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Sliders
- 121212 Hoagie Rolls, dinner rolls
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto, the spread from above
- 111 Tomato, sliced
- 6 oz6 oz6 oz Prosciutto
- Basil, Fresh
- 4-54-54-5 Muenster Cheese, slices
- 4-54-54-5 Mozzarella Cheese, slices whole milk
- 4-54-54-5 Provolone Cheese, slices
- 5 Tbsp5 Tbsp5 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted
- 1-2 Tbsp1-2 Tbsp1-2 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat the oven to 400° F.
- Make the sauce by blending all the ingredients (minus the brown sugar and balsamic) in a food processor. Remove all but 1/2 cup of the spread from the food processor then add the balsamic and brown sugar. blend until it comes together.
- Place the bottom half of the dinner rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the softened butter over the bottom half of the roll then sprinkle some of the Italian seasoning. Next, spread the sun dried tomato sauce over the butter. Layer on the different cheese, deli meats, sliced tomatoes and fresh basil. Spread the sauce on the top part of the rolls then place it on top.
- Melt the remaining butter In a small bowl, mix together with the talian seasoning. Spread the butter over the top of the rolls then cover the rolls with tin foil and bake 10-15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking another 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Brush with any remaining garlic butter and serve immediately.
