Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Heat InstantPot on Sauté setting and add oil.
  2. Sprinkle roast with salt, pepper, and chili powder.
  3. Cook roast for 3-4 minutes on each side, you want a nice brown sear on each side.
  4. Add onions, garlic, and red wine. Turn setting to Slow Cook. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add broth and stir.
  6. Cook for 6 hours, turn roast half way through.
  7. When done remove roast and shred using two large forks.

Notes

This beef is delicious as it is, or you can use in tacos, burritos, eggs, or sandwiches.
