sloppy joes, but with a cozy fall twist 🍂🎃 my traditional sloppy joes get a seasonal upgrade with pumpkin purée, primal palate's pumpkin pie spice, & a touch of smoky, spicy goodness—perfectly piled on sweet potato chips with melty cheese for ultimate fall comfort. 🥔🧀✨

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. in a large skillet, saute peppers & onions until tender & caramelized (~12-15 minutes).
  2. move veggies to a plate, then brown meat.
  3. once meat is fully cooked, mix in veggies.
  4. in a bowl, combine pumpkin, ketchup, bbq sauce, monk fruit, coconut aminos, dijon mustard, & seasoning.
  5. pour pumpkin sauce mixture + water into skillet; bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  6. to build nachos, start with a layer of sweet potato chips, then add on sloppy joe meat, & top with shredded cheese.
  7. heat until cheese is melted & enjoy.
