Roasted Tomato Soup
Who loves a hearty, creamy tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich? It was my Grandmother's favorite and I created this delicious Roasted Tomato Soup in her honor. I would give anything for one more day with her and be able to make this soup for her. I used my Roasted Tomato Sauce as the base but you can use any jarred sauce from the grocery store too! This is a true classic and the whole family will love it!
Ingredients
- 2 quart2 quart2 quart Roasted Tomato Sauce (click for recipe), see note
- 1 quart1 quart1 quart Vegetable Broth
- 13.5 oz13.5 oz13.5 oz Coconut Cream
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup fresh Basil, for garnish

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large pot combine all ingredients except basil
- Bring to a slow boil then lower heat to a simmer for 30 minutes
- Garnish with fresh basil
