This recipe came to be when I was dreaming up the perfect protein to pair with my Black Pepper & Goat Cheese Pumpkin Pasta. I wanted something that felt like fall and a warm hug on a chilly day (it's okay you can call me dramatic). Turkey and Sage is one of my favorite combinations (BIG thanksgiving girl over here) and I knew that adding in shallot and goat cheese would make the turkey meatballs go perfectly with my pumpkin pasta!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 and place a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl combine your ground turkey, egg, shallot, goat cheese, and seasonings. Shape mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
  3. Add the olive oil to your skillet. Once it is hot, add your meatballs and sear on each side for about 2 minutes. You want a golden brown crust to form
  4. Add meatballs to an oven safe dish and cook for 20 minutes.
