Easy Crockpot Carnitas (Edit recipe)

Crockpot carnitas are by far the most made meals in my home! It is a consistently delicious meal and incredibly easy to make – just dump the ingredients in a crockpot and wait a few hours! I love making tacos with them or a burrito bowl!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Pat dry your pork tenderloin and place in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Cover the pork with olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Rough chop the onion, garlic, and the jalapeno and add to the crockpot.
  4. Slice the orange and lime in half and squeeze out the juice into the crockpot. Place the orange and lime halves on top of the pork.
  5. Put the lid on the crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. The pork will be tender and shred easily with forks when done.
  6. Serve with tacos or in a burrito bowl!
