  1. Grill, pan-sear, or bake the apple chicken sausages until fully cooked and golden brown. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil
  3. Add the sliced apples and red onion, cooking until softened and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add your choice of Kraut to the apple/onion mixture and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add the sausage back in and stir well.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh thyme or parsley if desired.
  7. Serve as is or pair with roasted potatoes , cauliflower rice or a side salad for a complete meal.
