- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- Prepare pie crust by rolling it out on a sheet of parchment paper.
- In a bowl add cheeses, onions, minced garlic and seasonings. Mix together with a fork until everything is evenly distributed.
- Spread cream mixture over top of pie crust. Leaving about an inch and a half or so of space around the edges.
- Next slice your tomatoes in centimetre thick slices, and layer all around the middle in a pinwheel pattern until you get to the edge of the cream cheese layer.
- Fold edges of the pie crust over so that they are covering the edge of the tomato cream cheese layer.
- Next mix up your egg wash and brush the edges of the crust with one even coat.
- Sprinkle large grain salt around the edges of the galette.
- Bake on 400ºF for 35-38 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Option to brush with just butter around the edges, or you can mix up a garlic butter mixture with melted butter, garlic powder, and salt.
- Sprinkle with green onions and serve immediately!
- Enjoy!
Notes
I make a simple homemade butter pie crust for this galette, but you can easily use a store bought pie crust to speed things up and make the prep time go more quickly!
