Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese and Herbs Appetizer (Edit recipe)

This appetizer is perfect for any gathering. It is quick to throw together, but your guests will think you took an entire day to prepare it. All you need is your choice of baguette, sliced and toasted, topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato, green onion, and dill.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice a baguette into 1/2 inch pieces, and place on a wire rack on top of a baking sheet.
  3. Place the baguette slices in the oven to toast for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Top the slices of toasted bread with cream cheese, a piece of smoked salmon, tomato slices, and fresh green onion and fresh dill.
  5. Give a sprinkle of cracked black pepper if desired, and serve.

Notes

I used half of a gluten free baguette for this recipe, and the other half for my Goat Cheese, Fig, and Honey appetizer. You can easily make both appetizers with just one baguette to serve 6 people.
