Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat on the stovetop.
  2. While the pan is heating, pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel and season on both sides with the Primal Palate Seafood Seasoning.
  3. Add the avocado oil to the hot pan and swirl to coat the bottom.
  4. Place the shrimp down flat in the pan in an even layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the shrimp over and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the pan and place on a serving plate.
  7. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt completely.
  8. Add in the lemon juice and heavy cream and stir to combine, scraping off any stuck on bits from the bottom of the pan.
  9. Let the sauce simmer for about a minute to reduce slightly and then season to taste with salt and pepper.
  10. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and serve.

Notes

  • Spicy - Add a large pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the butter as it melts.
  • Dairy-Free - Use canned full-fat coconut milk in place of the heavy cream.
