Homemade Italian Seasoning Blend
Make your own Italian seasoning with this easy 5 minutes recipe that uses just 6 ingredients. Use this as a substitute to avoid last minute grocery store runs or to create your own blend.

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp dried Basil
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp dried Oregano
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp dried Rosemary
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp dried Thyme
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp dried Sage
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp dried Marjoram

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 6 months. Store in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight for maximum freshness and flavor.
Notes
- Red Pepper - Add ½ teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes.
- Garlic/Onion - Add ½ teaspoon of both garlic powder and onion powder.
- Salt - Add ½ teaspoon of kosher salt to enhance the flavor of the seasoning.
- Fennel - Add ½ teaspoon of fennel seeds to add a licorice flavor.
- Fresh - Dry fresh herbs and grind them up to use in this blend.
