Ingredients

  • 6 organic Apple, large, mashed cored and cut into quarters with skin on (or enough apples to reach the top of your crock pot)
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon, or more for taste

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Core the apples and then slice them into quarters. Leave the skin on. Place the apple quarters into the crock pot. Fill to the top.
  2. Turn the slow cooker on high heat and cook for 4 hours.
  3. After 4 hours, using an immersion blender, blend all the apples into a sauce. If you don’t have an immersion blender, you can use a regular blender but will have to do it in multiple batches.
  4. Add the cinnamon and stir to combine. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
