when you can’t find a seed oil–free edamame snack, you take matters into your own hands 😤 hopped on amazon → ordered a GIANT bag of freeze-dried edamame → brainstormed snack ideas while i waited for my prime delivery → & ended up with the ultimate spicy-sweet, electrolyte-packed, crunchy edamame snack. healthy. flavorful. totally addicting. 💚

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. preheat oven to 275.
  2. to a large bowl, add all dry ingredients; set aside.
  3. in a sauce pan over medium heat, add all ingredients (choose 1 hot sauce & 1 LMNT), except freeze-dried edamame.
  4. remove from heat, then add remaining seasonings.
  5. using a large spatula, thoroughly mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
  6. add edamame to a baking sheet; then bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
  7. remove from oven, then allow to cool completely.
  8. enjoy on salads, in snack mixes, or just by the handful!
