The most delicious strawberry twist on the classic rice krispie treat. Ooey-gooey and made in only 10 minutes, these easy strawberry rice krispie treats are a fun flavorful take on the traditional no-bake treat. Pretty in pink and positively delicious.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan with non-stick baking spray and parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and 8 cups of mini marshmallows and cook on high heat for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from the microwave and gently stir.
  4. Heat the butter and marshmallow mixture for one more minute in the microwave. Remove from the microwave and gently stir until entirely melted.
  5. Add in the rice cereal, strawberry jell-o mix, and salt and gently stir until combined. Allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Gently fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows and chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
  7. Place the mixture into the prepared pan and very gently spread and press down evenly.
  8. Top with additional chocolate chips and coarse sea salt if desired.
  9. Allow to fully cool and set before slicing. Enjoy!
  10. Store leftover treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days or frozen for up to 6 months.
