Turkey Chili
When the weather is awful outside, enjoy the warmth inside with this homemade turkey chili. A delicious blend of dark and white ground turkey meat, crushed tomatoes, seasonings, and beans makes this turkey chili a crave-worthy meal for any time of day. Yes, breakfast included.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Turkey, (preferably half dark, half white meat)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 111 Kidney Beans, can, drained
- 111 Cannellini Beans (canned), can, drained
- 28 oz28 oz28 oz Crushed Tomatoes, (1 large can or jar)
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Vegetable Broth
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Ground Cumin
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Paprika
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Chili Powder
- Salt
- Black Pepper

- Brown turkey meat in a large pot or dutch oven.
- Season the meat with all of the seasonings and pour in the drained beans, crushed tomatoes, stock, and salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Bring the flame to a low or simmer, and cover. Let the chili cook on the stove for at minimum 3 hours.
- Serve with rice or potato.
