Whole30 Salt and Pepper Wings
An EASY appetizer for a party or football game, or quick entree for a fun dinner. Basic ingredients, quick prep, but delicious flavor! Make them in the air fryer or oven. You may never get takeout wings again...; )
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Chicken Wings
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Avocado Oil, olive or
- 1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Garlic Powder

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- If using the oven, preheat to 475 degrees.
- Pat dry the wings. Toss in a large bowl with the oil until evenly coated.
- Mix together the baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the mixture with the wings.
- OVEN - Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment. Use a wire baking rack set into the baking sheet, if you have one. Lay out the wings in a single layer. Spray generously with cooking oil. Bake at 475 for 15 minutes, then flip, spray generously again and bake another 15 minutes or until crispy.
- AIR FRYER - Spread into a single layer in an air fryer. Spray generously with cooking oil. Air fry for 7 minutes at 400 degrees, flip, spray generously with oil again, and air fry for another 7 minutes or until golden.u00a0
