Pesto Recipe
Easy, healthy and budget friendly. This is a pesto sauce for everyone, even the haters! This will be your go-to pesto recipe going forward!
Ingredients
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups fresh Basil
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Kale
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Parsley
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 cloves2 cloves2 cloves Garlic
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Organic Walnuts
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sea Salt
- 0.5 pinch0.5 pinch0.5 pinch Black Pepper
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Bring your water to a boil and blanch your veggies for 1-2 mins.
- This preserves that beautiful bright colour.
- Remove and dry well. To a food processor or blender, add your all your ingredients in minus 1/4 cup of olive oil.
- Blend for 30 seconds the. Slowly pour in the remains 1/4 cup of olive oil and then your Parmesan.
- Taste for salt. Add as you go.
