Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a bowl, combine entire marinade and then mix in chunks of chicken. Cover and refrigerate for 1+ hours, if possible. Overnight is ideal!
- Soak four wooden skewers in water for 15-20 min to prevent them from burning
- When ready to cook, preheat the oven on your broil setting (550F). Thread the meat onto wooden skewers and place on an oven-safe wire rack that fits inside of a rimmed baking sheet. Broil on oven rack that is approx 6 inches from top burner. Cook for 12-13 minutes depending on the size of your chicken, flip halfway through!
- Slice chicken tikka in half, place on warm naan bread with garlic yogurt sauce, cucumber, and onion or simply enjoy chicken tikka on a salad!
Notes
You should marinate chicken for at LEAST an hour. It needs time to let all of that flavor soak up. TIP: DOUBLE recipe, you will want leftovers 😉 Optional: I like to line the baking sheet with foil for easier cleaning. can sub cucumber for shredded cabbage.
