Banana Bites
I'm all about nutritious yet filling snacks for my kids that they can create with me. I find when the kids pitch in, it gets them more excited to eat the healthy foods we're making together. These frozen chocolate peanut butter banana bites are a great snack option because they're rich in potassium from the bananas, protein from the peanut butter, and healthy fat from the superfood hemp hearts!
Ingredients
- 222 Banana
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Baking Chocolate Chips

- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Peanut Butter, Your peanut butter shouldn't contain any added sugars. I like buying peanut butter with the ingredients of just peanuts and sea salt.

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Hemp Hearts
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Coconut Oil
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Sprinkles, Dye-free
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sea Salt, For sprinkling

- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small pot, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil.
- In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter with the hemp seeds.
- Slice the bananas into coins. Spread a little peanut butter on each coin and cover with another banana slice.
- Dip each banana sandwich into the melted chocolate halfway. Place on parchment paper, sprinkle with sea salt, and then with sprinkles.
- Freeze for an hour, and enjoy!
