easy baked bacon
"where's the bacon? I smell bacon. bacon, bacon. gotta be bacon. only one thing smells like bacon. that's bacon. bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon." I truly think of that commercial every single time I have bacon, which I must say is quite often. this is seriously the BEST, easiest, cleanest way to make a big batch of bacon.

- preheat oven to 400.
- line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- evenly space out bacon on baking sheet.
- bake for 18-20 minutes or until reaches desired crispness.
- drain grease in a bowl - allow to solidify then refrigerate for future use.
- transfer bacon to a plate lined with a paper towel & pat dry to remove excess grease.
- I like to make a big batch & store in the freezer; to freeze: place cooked bacon on a baking sheet & freeze for 1-2 hours, then transfer bacon to a ziplock bag.
