Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, yogurt, honey, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Once dough comes together, cut into four pieces and roll them into smooth balls (if dough is too sticky, add a little bit of flour to it as needed).
  4. Flatten and make a hole in the center using your fingers.
  5. Boil water in a pot and add baking soda and honey or maple syrup to the water to sweeten a bit. Transfer bagels to the boiling water and allow them to cook for 30 seconds on each side. Transfer bagels to a parchment lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush bagels with an egg wash or with some avocado oil.
  7. Bake the bagels for 23-24 minutes.
  8. Once bagels have finished baking, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely. Once cooled, slice your bagels, toast them if desired, and enjoy alone or with toppings of choice!
