Money saving Valentine’s Day hack 👇🏼

❤️ Instead of buying a heart-shaped mold that you’ll use once a year, try our tin-foil trick instead! We used a clean ingredient cake box mix to save time, poured the batter into our regular silicone molds (paper works too) and then used crumbled tin foil bits to shape our cupcakes into hearts!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Line a muffin tray with muffin liners.
- Rip off tiny pieces of aluminum foil and crumble into balls. Slide them into the top of the muffin tin between the liner and tray, and the bottom corners to shape the liner as a heart.
- Make your cake mix batter according to the box instructions. Pour into the heart-shaped liners and bake according to instructions.
- Take the cupcakes out and let them cool. If the cupcakes have risen and aren't flat, take a knife and slice off the top to make them flat. Cover in frosting, and decorate with chocolate writing. Enjoy!
