Truffle Infused Hot Honey Butter
Introducing a super simple way to impress your guests with minimal ingredients and maximum flavour. This hot honey truffle infused butter brings bread and butter to the next level! The best part? You can used day old bread to make your own crostini so we're fighting food waste as well.
Ingredients
- 0.5 whole0.5 whole0.5 whole Butter, Unsalted, (room temp)

- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Truffle Infused Hot Honey - Zoë Olive Oil, (I used Zoë Olive Oil)
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Truffle Infused Olive Oil - Zoë Olive Oil, (I used Zoë Olive Oil)
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Salt and Pepper, (to taste, I used Zoë Olive Oil)
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Bread, (panini or old bread)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Cut a whole butter in half (approx 227g) and allow to come to room temperature
- Take an old panini a slice into crostini, toast them in the toaster and set aside to cool down
- Once the butter is at room temperature, sprinkle your salt, pepper, truffle infused olive oil and truffle infusedhot honey
- Slice the butter down the middle and break it down into smaller cubes
- With a fork, press the seasonings into the butter until you make a smooth paste
- On a cutting board, place a sheet of plastic wrap and place the butter over it, making a small mountain
- Using the plastic wrap, shape the form of a butter stick as best as you can - let it be rustic!
- Cover and place into the fridge for at least 30min or until a bit firm
- Remove from plastic wrap, scoop a bit of the butter up and spread onto crostini
- Enjoy!
Notes
You could even use this butter to make a DELICIOUS pasta dish if you have leftovers. A classic spin on the caccio e pepe pasta dish but with truffle. I recommend throwing in some fresh mushrooms too if you have some.
