  1. in a large dutch oven, cook bacon until crisp.
  2. remove from pan, then saute onions & carrots until tender.
  3. add in potatoes & corn; lightly saute.

  5. simmer until potatoes are fork tender.
  6. add in cream, starch slurry, & clams; simmer on low until starts to thicken (don’t overcook!)
  7. garnish with crispy bacon, herbs, crackers, etc.
