Have you ever tried speculaas? I’m a little bit Dutch so maybe it is heritage but the flavors are totally Christmas. Brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove…all so warm and comforting. This delicious syrup has many uses but as a latte it’s amazing. Super easy to make, like the holidays in a cup.

  • 12 fl oz Coffee, Black
  • 1 tsp Dutch speculaas cookie syrup
  • .25 cup Milk, Your choice what kind

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare the black coffee and pour into a cup.
  2. Using a frother blend the milk and syrup until the milk is nice and frothy. Use hot steam if you have it.
  3. Pour on top and enjoy.

Notes

You can use 2 tsp of the syrup if you like your coffee on the sweeter side.
