Baked Citrus Salmon
This simple baked salmon is easy to make, but sure to impress. The citrus adds bright flavor, and the seasonings are just enough to add the perfect amount of flavor to enhance the salmon without masking the flavor of the fish.
Ingredients
- .75 lb.75 lb.75 lb Wild Caught Salmon Filet
- 222 Tangerines (Mandarin Orange), slices
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Primal Palate Kosher Flake Salt
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp ground Ginger
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat your oven to bake at 375 degrees.
- Place 4-6 mandarin slices on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the salmon filet on top of the mandarin slices.
- Season the salmon with black pepper, flake salt, ground ginger, garlic granules and onion granules.
- Place a few mandarin slices on top of the salmon, and pour the melted butter over the salmon.
- Cover the baking dish with foil to tightly seal, and place the baking dish into the oven.
- Bake covered for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for a remaining 10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily, and is no longer translucent.
