Air Fryer Roast Beef
Air fryer roast beef is an easy recipe that can be served year-round. This low-carb, paleo, whole30 beef cooks in the air fryer in 30 minutes or less!
Ingredients
- 2.5-3 lb2.5-3 lb2.5-3 lb Top Round Roast Beef Roast
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil, or oil of choice
- 1.5 tsp1.5 tsp1.5 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp dried Rosemary
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp dried Thyme
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Black Pepper

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 30 minutes before you're ready to cook, remove the beef roast from the fridge and let it come to room temperature.
- Drizzle the oil all over the roast.
- In a small bowl, mix together the rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Season the roast evenly all over the the seasoning mixture.
- Place the prepared beef roast in the air fryer basket. Cook at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the roast beef from the air fryer. Let the roast rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Roast beef doesn’t use a specific cut of beef but some are more frequently used than others. I used a 2 1/2-pound top round roast. If you want to get technical, it was a large 5-pound round roast that I cut in half. Other suggestions include bottom round roast, rump roast, sirloin roast, or eye of round roast.
