Berry French Toast Bake (gf)
You know those long waits on holidays where everyone intentional starves themselves to wait for the big meal.
Or when a guest stays with you and you're looking for an easy and quick breakfast? This bake is perfect and something everyone can enjoy.
Ingredients
- 888 Gluten Free Dinner or Cinnamon Rolls (click for recipe), Chopped and cubed
- 111 Egg
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Almond Milk
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Butter Extract
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
- 0.125 tsp0.125 tsp0.125 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Gluten-Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour - Bob's Red Mill
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Pecans, Crushed
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Butter, Unsalted, Cold
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Blackberries, Whole
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Strawberries, Halved
- 111 Honey, Optional

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Grease or butter a small baking dish
- Add cubed gluten free rolls
- In a liquid measuring cup add milk, an egg, cinnamon, nutmeg and extracts
- Whisk together until you have a smooth egg mixture
- Pour liquid evenly over all of the cubed dinner rolls
- In a separate bowl add flour, pecans and brown sugar
- Take your cold stick of butter and cut pieces into the bowl
- Use your fingers to combine the mixture together
- This should easily form a crumble
- Sprinkle the crumble over the top of the "French toast"
- **Optional drizzle honey on top
- Place your bake in the oven for 45 minutes
- Once cooled for 15 minutes top with fresh berries and powdered sugar
Notes
You can increase the milk and spice mixture based on your preference.
